Ciel Creations is a real love of trying out new combinations of colour, texture or size of bead. Be it semi-precious, crystals, wood, hand-made glass, leather or sterling silver, they are each and every one special when placed along side each other and become items in their own right. The fun is in the unique combination of material and the initial creation of the item, which would never bring the same sense of joy second time round. That is why every item is unique.

All earrings can be converted to either sterling silver ear-wires for pierced ears or silver plated clip-ons. So please ask by using the 'Enquiries' menu item or send an email to Ciel Creations, quoting your order number after checking out your order.

Lampwork beads are made using traditional glass working techniques by holding and melting thin rods of glass over a hot torch and carefully wrapping the glass around a metal rod (mandrel) coated with bead release and forming it into the desired shape. Additional glass can be heated and added to give some of the most fantastic shapes, colours and patterns, before being placed in a kiln to anneal the beads to give them strength and durability. Fine silver (higher silver content than .925 sterling silver) can be carefully melted into the glass to give wonderful effects along with using special silvered glass.

All of the lampwork beads are made using the following glass types: Effetre (Morretti), Doublie Helix, Reichenbach and Creation is Messy (CiM) glass all with COE 104.
